Wagtails cottage occupies the oldest part of the buildings, dating back to around the 17th century. Early tenants probably lived in what is now Wagtails cottage, along with their animals. The renovation has retained the old beams and stone work from that time giving a real sense of history but with today's home comforts.     Wagtails has full central heating throughout, plus an open fireplace in which to have a real log fire. The two bedrooms provide ample space for up to four adults. In addition one of the sofas converts into double bed

The fitted kitchen/dining room has everything you need, including an integrated electric oven and hob, a full size dishwasher, (we don't believe anyone should have to wash up on holiday) a washing machine, and a fridge. There's a microwave for those quick snacks. We provide all pots, pans, crockery, and bed linen.     The dining room is just one more place to while away time, maybe enjoying a leisurely breakfast, looking out over the rolling countryside down to the Llangollen Steam railway, or watching the sun slowly rise.

Wagtails has two bedrooms, which can be either twin or super king double rooms. Bedroom one is on the lower floor. This is a very comfortable room, and probably our favourite, it has a dressing table, wardrobe and bedside tables with lamps. The old oak beams rise into the apex of the ceiling, lie in bed and watch the stars through the rooflight window.     The second bedroom is upstairs, and again can be either a twin or super king size. This room also has a wardrobe, dressing table, bedside tables with lamps. The fully fitted bathroom has a bath with shower over.     The lounge with its open log fire and ancient beams is the ideal place to relax and with Freeview Sky TV,a stereo system and a video player complete with supply of video films.
